Old men on little motorbikes stop for coffee at Cotswold Airport!!

Not content with having had two “last rides” of the year – one from the Red Bull and another from Iron Acton last month, we decided to indulge ourselves on another ride out on our small capacity motorcycles (no mopeds this time). This time from Kington Langley Village Hall and further than usual – 42 miles with a midway stop at the “AV8” Cafe on Kemble Airfield or to call it by its “posh” name, “Cotswold Airport”.

While we have been having a bit of an “Indian summer” insofar as temperatures are concerned, today was pretty chilly not helped by the gale force winds and high humidity although we were fortunate that the “humidity” didn’t “drop” on us!

At the end of the run we had lunch in the Kington Cafe – thanks to Gavin and staff for looking after us!

I am keeping my eye on the weather ahead – the end of next week, though a while away, is looking hopeful.
