“All dressed up and no place to go”…..a curtailed ride out….. on the YB100 🤬

Even the word “curtailed” would be a huge understatement !

So I was due to ride nearly 70 miles to Quainton in Buckinghamshire to then ride the “100 miler” and then ride 70 miles home…..but things didn’t go according to plan.

Having hardly had a wink of sleep after 2am due to my anxiety about waking up in time to leave at 6am and concern about the availability of fuel due to the panic buying of the same in the UK at the moment…..I had a coffee at 5:20pm, prepared the bike for the journey – fuel, phone, waterproofs, lunch box, etc and then wheeled it out of the garage and down the road for fear of waking my neighbours as the engine roared into life but…..nothing happened – couldn’t kick it over or bump start the engine – it was as if it seized.

So I was all dressed up with no place to go 🤬

Shortest and quietest ride ever !
