Le Mont-Saint-Michel…..

An iconic “mecca” for tourists….this photo taken back in 2011 before the car park to end all car parks was built a year or so later, enabling multiples of sweaty tourists to cram onto this beautiful tidal island.

Its a gorgeous site but, perhaps, best seen from afar?

Before the mega car park, people used to park on the beach…..then the tide used to come in…..!! You had to watch your timing.
