It has been suggested that the current US President is “a socialist” ??? This is, perhaps, because he is a smidgen to the left of the controlling party in Congress??

Those who want to know what a socialist looks like, should glance across the Atlantic to their great friends in France, at the new French President, Messier Hollande……that is what “a socialist” looks like !!

Mind you…..we have socialists right here in the UK – currently the Liberals (the socialist intelligentsia) are in coalition with the right wing Conservatives – they are working together like two peas in a pod!! They are not so worried about disagreements in each other’s politics….being in power is what is the most important thing to them both??

In truth….Republican vs Democrat, Conservative vs Labour, – regardless of who is elected, what we get is exactly the same….you can hardly put a cigarette paper between them.

Now if you want to see something really different…..forget yesterday’s Presidential election in France….but take a look at the chaos that is Greece. The “sensible parties” (what you might call Republican and Democrat, or what we might call Conservative and Labour) have been voted out and they now have a parliament made up of actors, comedians, “nazi” thugs and the “loony left” – the Greek Nazi party now has 27 seats in the Athens Parliament! There we all are getting sensitive about our home politics…..imagine being in Greece?? I recon the Greek parliament will make great live TV??

So its Sunday 6th May and I’m off out on the motorbike wearing long johns, 2 pairs of socks and 4 layers ! brrrrrrr !!

PS – it ddnt work out as planned – my mate Graham had a puncture in Bath I might have been better taking the “push bike” *s we call it over here (bicycle)!
