BT were also a nightmare, but that's a different story. We cancelled the Tiscali broadband & calls package in October 2011, but TalkTalk repeatedly failed to disconnect and continued to charge for it until March 2012..... despite BT disconnecting the line ! Given our problems with BT, and the fact they refused to match the Talk Talk price deal, we reluctantly decided to sign up our 2 guest cottages to Talk Talk in Feb 2012, on the strict understanding it was kept totally separate from the ongoing Tiscali dispute. This, of course, was not done, and one of the lines appeared on the Tiscali bill, complicating matters further! To make things worse, that line (which Talk Talk make us pay them for, rather than BT) did not work properly, and we have been wasting hours onto TT faults dept, failing to get it repaired....... it appears to be an intermittent fault just on the broadband. I feel these telecom firms should allocate one person to take responsibility for & deal with an ongoing problem & customer - with a direct contact no..
