The week after Christmas…..and the temperature is 50F. The salt on the roads has been washed away by the rain so the surface is uncharacteristically dry…..so what better opportunity to put my highly powered Yamaha YB100cc through its paces…..vintage 1989 ! As I speed towards Cirencester to have coffee with my mate Graham, doing 50mph flat out…..!
Sunday is predicted to be sunny and 55F so in the event that the forecast is reliable, that’s almost tee-shirt weather! Arrangements in hand for a ride out on the big daddy bike to celebrate New Year !

The Wurzels are probably the biggest band we have in the UK today and the nearest we have to a “Country” band – in fact American Country acts imitate this band. Expect to hear this kind of agricultural music wall to wall when you visit the UK !!
Enjoy !
I could scarcely believe my eyes when, just before leaving for lunch with my Parents at the Two Toads Cafe in Tetbury, I spied two huge bumble bees buzzing around, scaveging for an unexpected mid-winter feast, eventually settling on this mini-cyclamen in my garden. Hardly surprising…..I was in a tee shirt at 54F degrees….not bad for two days before Christmas ?????
At this rate we’ll be BBQ’ing the Christmas Lunch !
