Walking Gladys the dog…..

……near the source of the River Avon (that’s the Avon that flows through Bath not the entirely different River Avon that flows through Stratford! Confusing ain’t it?)

Imprisoned trying to stay warm…

…..might I be agraphobic? Foot fetishists avert your eyes.

Wish the time would stay as NOW…..quiet solitude. Monday no thank YOU !

Boxing Day….

Someone’s gonna be lucky….Santa has a full sack this morning !

Just when we want one, a Robin shows up…..

…..as one did in the State of Maine this Fall….a REAL English Robin !!! Baa humbug etc etc. I think I’ll go for a walk with Gladys.

From left to right….

Brussels sprouts, carrots, pasnips, turnip, gravy & potatoes. Turkey in the oven since 7am and the beef is still out on the motorbike Ha ! Cauliflowers already cooked ready for cheese sauce and the institution of Christmas breakfast (scrambled egg with smokes salmon) has not even been thought about!

Meanwhile Gladys the dog and Tesco the cat show great interest and the cauliflower cheese is out in the relative safety of the garage prior to sticking in the oven later!

Well….it DOES “look” pretty…?

…..even though we are in chaos as usual – only the main roads are treated!!

The church is Malmesbury Abbey…the other photos are near Long Newnton.

Oh my……
