The nasty crime ridden Cotswolds that I’m often asked about…..

I’m often asked by Customers if it is safe to walk about in the Cotswolds and judging from the high crime levels where many of my Custmers come from, one can forgive them for asking.

So let me give you a couple of examples of what is troubling the minds of Cotswold residents this week:

Suspicious Activity In Somerford Keynes

Between 2000-2100 Hours on Sunday 30th September, a metal gate was removed from its hinges and a vehicle appears to have driven into a shop (store) car park.

The vehicle drove in and out of the car park without causing any damage to any property. There was no CCTV evidence captured and there are no details of the vehicle. Be aware as similar suspicious activity has been happening in the area.

Three Muzzled Dogs

We’re appealing for information following an incident that happened on Sunday, 30 September 2018 on the “The Ride” part of the Bathurst Estate between Frampton Mansell and Sapperton where a dog walker and her dog were attacked by three muzzled dogs that were not on a lead. One was a terrier the other two were possibly staffies. Fortunately nobody was injured.

The owner was possibly seen in a green VW Polo type car but the partial registration provided to us did not bring any useful leads.

If anybody happens to know who these dogs may belong to, we would be thankful if you could let us know by responding to this alert.

Thank you,

You see, arming ourselves with an M16 carbine would, if you’d pardon the pun, be overkill here!!
